Small steps toward a more sustainable lifestyle — what actually works?

Hey guys! Lately I’ve been trying to live a bit more sustainably, but every time I start thinking about it I get overwhelmed by all the “do this, stop doing that” lists online. A couple weeks ago I decided to just try one small thing at a time — first I began carrying a reusable water bottle, then I swapped disposable bags for cloth ones when shopping. It already made me rethink how much I use and toss without even noticing. I found this article that had a bunch of simple, actionable suggestions: 10 Tips to Live a More Sustainable Lifestyle

. It didn’t feel preachy, just practical. What little changes have worked for you, especially ones that stuck?

Nice discussion. I’m not super focused on eco-living all the time, but I do find that being aware helps. For example, when I go shopping I try to pick items with less packaging, or I’ll choose local produce if I can. I don’t keep a list or anything, I just notice what feels right and practical. Small choices add up over time, and it’s interesting to hear what others do differently.
